Ngoc Tuan Surimi machinery is based on Japanese technology (meat separator, rotary screens, refiners, screw-press, high kneader, block former), western equipment design (heat exchangers, wet refiner, decanter) as well as machinery of new conception developed by SURIMI TECH (fish washer – descaler, steel belt fish washer, high speed short rotary screens, nylon mesh microfiltration recovery screens, small screw-press, etc.)

Ngoc Tuan surimi is using innovation and new developments in surimi production developed by SURIMI TECH (www.surimitech.vn) the company of TIGER Group specialized in technology, engineering and manufacturing of surimi machinery with the goal to maximize efficiency and product quality.

Among the technology advances implemented at NGOC TUAN SURIMI:

  • Protein recovery from the rotary screen water and refiner waste
  • Reduction of water and energy consumption through cascade washing
  • Saving of cooling power by heat exchangers.
  • Process control by PLC for better product regularity.

At the difference of most tropical fish surimi factories using a batch process to wash the fish meat, NGOC TUAN SURIMI is applying a continuous process that gives a fast processing with higher capacity and stable quality.

The production process has been improved over the years to maximize efficiency and quality.
By segmenting the refiner output of the production line, the factory is processing a first grade of higher quality than other factories and a second grade of medium quality while the recovery system gives a surimi of lower gel. This technique allows NGOC TUAN SURIMI to offer various grades of surimi better suited to the particular needs of different customers.
Dewatering by decanter technology allows to process good quality fatty fish like horse mackerel or sardine while dewatering by screw-press is better adapted for flying fish.
